PREMIER LEAGUE AND CHAMPIONSHIP SPLIT FIXTURES CONFIRMED! (27.07)

Following an exciting first two-thirds of the season, the Premier League and Championship fixtures for the remainder of the season have today been confirmed.

After completing one round of fixtures against all opponents in the league, the top six will face off to do battle for the Premier League, meanwhile the bottom six fight it out for the Championship, with the side finishing bottom of that league relegated to the First Team League.

The Premier League sees back-to-back holders Pembroke currently top of the pile, and they'll kick off their campaign in Sydney Parade against Railway Union, with that fixture taking place on August 15th due to their participation in the Irish Cup Final on August 16th.

The top division comes to a close with a bumper listing of cricket in Dublin 4 on September 12th, as Merrion host Malahide, whilst Railway Union host Balbriggan, and finally, Leinster will make the trip to Sydney Parade to take on Pembroke.

Meanwhile in the IBI Corporate Finance Championship, the title race remains tight at the top, with Clontarf and Phoenix separated by just 1.5 points, whilst holders North County will feel right in contention, as they sit just 28 points off the top.

The action in the second tier kicks off with a local derby in the Phoenix Park, as Civil Service are on the road to face Phoenix, whilst Rush will aim to haul themselves closer to safety when they travel to The Mardyke to take on Cork County. Finally, Clontarf will be hoping for some revenge against North County, who chased down 338 in Castle Avenue when the sides met in the initial league phase.

The league concludes with Clontarf travelling to Kenure to face Rush, whilst in the Park, Civil Service host North County, finally Phoenix will round out their season with a visit to The Mardyke, where they play Cork County.
