CL ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (MONDAY 27.7.2026)

The CL Annual General Meeting (AGM) was completed on Monday 27th July last via zoom.

The following clubs were represented:

• Merrion
• Mullingar
• Pembroke
• Phoenix
• Sandyford

The CL President (Brian Kelleher) was in attendance.

The chairs of the Open, Youth and Grounds & Accreditation Committees were also in attendance.

As Board Chair, John Heavey opened the meeting by paying tribute to all within the club cricket community who had passed away since the last AGM after which a minute of silence was observed.

The financial statements were then presented by Barry Tucker (Chair of Finance).

The audited accounts for 2025 were approved by the meeting based on the external audit completed by Merry Mullen Chartered Accountants. It was explained that this was their first year as the Company Auditors having succeed R Brophy & Company last year. The work completed on our behalf over many years by Alun Brophy and his team was acknowledged.

The meeting approved the reappointment of Merry Mullen as auditors for 2026. The next company meeting will be the CL Autumn General Meeting.
