Pitch in Kilbogget Park destroyed by fire

Disgraceful news emerged from Kilbogget Park, the home of Cabinteely CC, earlier this week, when club members discovered that the club's pitch had been destroyed by fire.

Cabinteely are working with the Garda and South Dublin County Council Parks Department regarding the fire.

There has been lots of support on social media for Cabinteely, with contributor to this website, Craig Senior saying on Facebook,  "There are over 2,000 cricket players registered in Leinster. €5 each would surely go a long way to replacing this mat...
Or has any club replaced their mat and still have the old one?

Spread the word fellow cricketers...."
