Three more photos in our continuing hunt for Cricket Leinster Photo of the Year 2013. A quick note of thanks to all of you who are sending photos in. There are some great photos each week that will be included at some point before the season.
The photos taken in 2013 are now staring to filter though and those will be given priority!
First up this week we have this studied shot of Mary McLoughlin's 12th birthday party. Mary plays for Phoenix, and all the guests were members of Phoenix's u11 girls team last year. The team had a pre-season warm up at Mary's party.
Next up is this shot of Ryan Keenan, aged two at Balbriggan cricket clubs summer camp 2012 with uncle Adrian Harper. Ryan is grandson of Albert Harper and is already showing his love for cricket at such a young age.
When Ryan walks out to play Test cricket for Ireland in 20 years, we can all look at this picture.
Finally, photo of a famous day in recent Cricket Leinster history, as Mike Shoebridge explains.
"A happy but exhausted Leinster U13 Team who had just completed a memorable 15 run victory over Yorkshire at the 2011 Taunton Cricket Festival.
