Get your cameras, phones and zoom lenses at the ready. The Cricket Leinster Photo of the Year for 2014 is back again, to brighten up your life throughout the summer.
All we need you to do is to send in your photos to photos@cricketleinster.ie
Photos must be taken in 2014, and must be at least something to do with cricket in Leinster. We're looking for a slightly different angle to normal cricket photos, so elegant off drives and traditional team shots are unlikely to win.
Michael Gavin of The Hills Cricket Club set the standard in 2013, with his winning shot of Kevin O'Brien hitting the winning runs for Leinster Lightning against the Northern Knights in early May last year.
There will again be six monthly winners (April ,May, June, July, August and September), with each of those six receiving a blown up version of their photo. The overall winner will be also presented with a voucher for a photo store, and the honour that goes with being Cricket Leinster Photographer of the Year for 2014.
