About Us:
Founded in 1830, Phoenix Cricket Club is one of the oldest cricket clubs in the world and will celebrate 200 years in 2030. The club is comprised of men’s, women’s and youth sections and is located in the Phoenix Park in Dublin, Ireland, one of the largest city parks in Europe.

The Women’s Section celebrated 50 consecutive years of playing in 2025.

It has been a strategic focus to increase participation and strengthen our women’s section. Currently there are two women’s teams playing in Division 1 and Division 3 of 4 Divisions in Leinster Province. We are planning a 3 XI team in 2026.

The successful candidate will be offered a fixed term contract for the 2026 season, April – August.

The Opportunity:
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual to build on their playing and coaching career by playing on a Division 1 team in Leinster Province and by assisting with the continuing development of a successful and thriving women’s section within one of the strongest cricket clubs in Dublin.

The Person:
The individual will have the communication and leadership skills to take initiatives, to motivate and inspire our female players and to establish a culture of involvement, improvement, and fun.

Solid verified playing experience at senior level, particular strength in batting. Relevant verified coaching qualifications and experience, preferably at Level 2.
