By the end of July the number of registered players who have taken part in Open Competitions had risen to 1923. Of these 421 were youth players, 833 were players who learnt their cricket outside of Ireland and 20 were female.
Unfortunately it is not possible to provide an age profile as the recorded dates of birth filled in by clubs are not always accurate. Something hopefully that will be corrected by players themselves next year.
