All clubs fielding more than one team in league cricket must submit their first starring list of the season by midnight on Tuesday 12th April.
As in past years, responsibility for monitoring starring lists/result cards from clubs has been split between OCC members. This division is as follows

The OCC member allocated to your club may therefore be in touch with you with any queries about your starring list. Please ensure that any such query is resolved before matches are played.
Please note the following. It is now compulsory that when registering a player, photo ID is required. If it is not, the registration is not complete and you will find it impossible to enter that player on a starring list or result card. Please ensure therefore that all players in your club are properly registered.
Please note in particular regulation 2.3 of the General Playing Regulations as follows :-
2.3 For the avoidance of doubt, the registration of a player does not imply compliance with the criteria for eligibility to play in a cricket match under the aegis of the Leinster Cricket Union as set out under Regulation 1.
In this context where a player with previous cricketing experience (particularly if this is outside Leinster) joins a club for the first time, the club must immediately provide the OCC with details of this experience.
Playing or including such player in a starring list without having submitted these details may lead to the OCC imposing sanction. The OCC needs this information to be supplied to me at the time of registration so that we can determine if the player is definitely eligible or if any restriction should apply.
The starring dates for the remainder of the season are as follows
Midnight - Tuesday 10th May
Midnight - Tuesday 7th June (note particularly as this is the first Tuesday of the month but the following day is the second Wednesday).
Midnight - Tuesday 12th July
Midnight - Tuesday 9th August
