Club/Team - Malahide 1
Match - Division 2, Malahide 1 vs Phoenix 1, Saturday 5th May 2012
Details of incident/Action taken - On April 23rd 2012, Malahide CC informed the OCC that there were likely to be difficulties in hosting the Division 2 match against Phoenix on Saturday 5th May. These difficulties were due to the construction of their new ground not being completed.
After attempts to find an alternative grass wicket for the match ended in failure, on May 2nd Malahide formally requested under regulation 9.4 of the General Playing Regulations, that the Phoenix match be postponed.
The OCC has accepted this request due to the exceptional circumstances involved in a club creating a new ground. Such a major development cannot be necessarily timed to finish within exact deadlines.
Under the same regulation, the match will now be refixed. For more details of the procedures involved in refixing a match, please refer to the General Playing Regulations on the Cricket Leinster website.
Club/Team - Oakhill 1
Match - Division 4, Oakhill 1 vs North Kildare 1, Saturday 28th April 2012
Details of incident/Action taken - The match was postponed on Friday 27th April. Match to be reviewed at OCC meeting on Wednesday 9th May
Club/Team - YMCA 1
Match - Division 1, YMCA 1 vs Railway Union 1, Saturday 28th April 2012
Details of incident/Action taken - The match abandonded without any play. Match to be reviewed at OCC meeting on Wednesday 9th May
Club/Team - Railway Union 4
Match - Division 11, Railway Union 4 vs Civil Service 3, Saturday 28th April 2012
Details of incident/Action taken - After several good performaces at Division 11, Railway Union have been asked to move Sean Tomlinson up in their starrings, no longer being able to play below Division 5. This will be reviewed at subsequent monthly starring meetings.
