What follows is the breakdown of averages for youth players in Open Competitions in 2015.
The figures relate to the league competition only.
38 U19 players competed in D1 [League] last season, taking part in a total of 255 matches. All eight clubs had at least one youth player with North County and YMCA turning out seven each. Exchange / overseas players are included separately.
Most matches were played by Fiachra Tucker, David Murphy [both Pembroke] and Tom Stanton [Merrion] with 13.
Only two players got more than 200 runs, while Lorcan Tucker [Pembroke] headed the averages with an aggregate of 358 at an average of 34.90. He was followed by Jack Tector [YMCA] with 313 at an average of 31.30. Three players got over 10 wickets in the season, haeded by David Murphy [Pembroke].
Two players got 10 on more victims in the field - Lorcan Tucker 20 [including 9 stumpings] and Sam Murphy 12 [YMCA] with six stumpings.
