With only one match qualifying for the Leinster Division 1/Senior Cup averages this weekend, it was tempting to have a week off. But with some major performances in that match, there have been plenty of changes.
The one match saw YMCA 1 comfortably overtake Pembroke's score of 233-8 with 24 overs to spare. It was Simmi Singh's day, as the Lightning allrounder took 3-42 before scoring 140 in only 104 balls. That performance has had a major influence on this week's stats!
Highest Batting average in Division 1 - Marchant Cup (current qualification - 200 runs)
With Albert van der Merwe passing the 200 mark for the season, after his 39*, the qualification now sits at 200 runs, with ten players passing that mark.
Jack Tector scored "only" 33, but that was enough to sit proudly at the top of the averages with 350 runs at 70. Simmi Singh moves into second place after his knock, only 0.5 behind his YMCA teammate.

Jonno Cooke actually had an off day with the ball on Saturday (before bouncing back in style on Sunday in the Irish Senior Cup), taking 0-52. That drops him back down below Merrion's David Rhoda and Clontarf's Alex Cusack. Cusack is the leading Irish qualified (and hence eligible) player, with Eddie Richardson of North County the next qualifier. Simmi Singh sneaks onto this table as well, his weekend performance propelling him to 13th place
