NCI CC registered their first win of the season by thumping Clonee CC by 9 wickets in a match held at the new cricket ground in Porterstown Park in West Dublin on March 19th. NCI won the toss and choose to bowl on a good bouncy wicket. Regular wickets and mounting pressure resulted in Clonee being bowled out for 62 in 16.2 overs which NCI chased down in 12 overs with the loss of 1 wicket. Rahul Balachandran top scored for Clonee scoring 9 runs. Rohit Sharma starred with both ball and bat top scoring 13 not out and bagging 3 wickets for NCI.
