  3. Mid Season Report: RSA OCD11
3rd July 2014 by Eddie Lewis

Mid Season Report: RSA OCD11

Lucan have been one of the most successful teams in any league this year and they are comfortably out in front in Division 11 with 82% and seven wins out of eight games played. Three teams are grouped in the 60%s, Longford II, Malahide V and Cabinteely, and look to be competing for the second promotion spot. All results refer to matches reported to the 23rd June.

At the other end of the table neither North County V or Leinster VI have managed a win. There is probably still time for one or both to overtake Wexford Wanderers II who are also struggling, not helped by a deduction of bonus points.

There have been 28 matches played in the league, including four NRs. 176 registered players have taken part, of whom 46 have been youth players.

Ali Hashmi [Lucan] is well out in front in terms of the aggregate of runs scored. Mark Duffy leads the averages [Min 125]. Unusually there have been no centruies scored in the league.

Seven players have managed 10 wickets or more. Arijit Mustafa [Lucan] has 18 wickets, with Sijo Mathews [Cabinteely] the top of the averages on an impressive 5.17 per wicket. He also has the best individual performance on 6/26, followed by Talat Manzoor [5/17], Mustafi [5/19], and Ravi Kumar [5/26]. Lucan’s in depth bowling strength is evident with four players in the averages
