  3. Max Sorensen appointed as The Hills Development Officer
27th April 2011 by Cricket Leinster

Max Sorensen appointed as The Hills Development Officer

The Hills CC is very pleased to announce the appointment of Max Sorensen as Development Officer with immediate effect. Max, who has played for the Hills CC for the past 3 seasons, will be involved in visiting local schools, providing individual coaching and working as part of the new Cricket Academy which the Hills CC has put in place for the new season.

The President of the Hills CC, Jim Bennett, expressed his delight at this appointment and stated that Max’s expertise and enthusiasm would be invaluable as the Hills CC seeks to build on the developments which have occurred during the past few years. He wished Max well on his appointment, and said that he had no doubt that Max would be successful in his new role.

For Max, it is an exciting career opportunity as he combines playing cricket with coaching and development work. His first official engagement as Hills CC’s Development Officer will be at this evening’s Registration event where he will be joined by John Mooney, the hero of Ireland’s great win over England during the recent World Cup.
