The Sherwin O’Riordan sponsored Leinster Lightning has announced their squad for the home IP20 Festival at Sydney Parade.
Head Coach Andre Botha welcomes back from injury core squad members Gavin Hoey (Pembroke) and David Delany (Clontarf). Delany has already made an impact since his return to club cricket in steering Dublin University to a 6-wicket win over Civil Service in the Senior T20 competition at College Park. He also top-scored last Saturday for Clontarf, making 64 against Malahide in the IBI Premier League.
Otherwise and as expected, the squad remains largely unchanged from that which was selected for the aborted Lisburn Festival last week.
In the only completed IP game so far this season, the Lightning defeated North West Warriors by 20 runs in a game reduced to 16 overs at Bready where all other games fell victim to the inclement weather.

The two IP20 fixtures for Leinster Lightning next week are as follows:
Tuesday 16th June: Leinster Lightning vs Northern Knights (3.30pm, Sydney Parade)
Wednesday 17th June: Leinster Lightning vs North West Warriors (3.30pm, Sydney Parade).
The squad selected is therefore as follows:
Lorcan Tucker (Pembroke) (Capt, Wkt)
Tim Tector (Pembroke)
Chris DeFreitas (Balbriggan)
Harry Tector (Pembroke)
George Dockrell (Phoenix)
Stephen Doheny (Merrion)
Fionn Hand (Clontarf)
David Delany (Clontarf)
Gavin Hoey (Pembroke)
Matthew Hollard (Balbriggan)
Jai Moondra (Leinster)
Ben White (Phoenix)
Byron McDonough (Pembroke)
Head Coach: Andre Botha
Our thanks to James Sherwin and David O’Riordan (Sherwin O’Riordan Solicitors) for their ongoing sponsorship support of the Leinster Lightning and Leinster Bolts, it is very much appreciated.
