  3. LIGHTNING SQUAD FOR FINAL IP20 FESTIVAL (8-10 JULY)
6th July 2025 by Cricket Leinster

LIGHTNING SQUAD FOR FINAL IP20 FESTIVAL (8-10 JULY)

The Final IP20 Festival for the 2025 season is scheduled to take place at Sydney Parade from Tuesday 8th to Thursday 10th July.

The Sherwin O'Riordan sponsored Leinster Lightning have already been confirmed as IP20 Champions based on their performances across the first three festivals with 2 wins in Cork, 3 wins in Belfast and a further 2 wins in Derry last week.

Leinster Lightning has dominated the IP competitions since they were reconstituted in 2013 and this year’s success is their 9th time as IP20 Champions in the 13 years of the competition.

The table below confirms their unassailable position before we begin the final series of games on Tuesday:

The three fixtures for Leinster Lightning this week are as follows:

⇒ Tuesday 8th: Leinster Lightning vs Munster Reds (10.45am)

⇒ Wednesday 9th: Leinster Lightning vs North West Warriors (3.45pm)

⇒ Thursday 10th: Leinster Lightning vs Northern Knights (3.45pm)

It is expected that the trophy will be presented at the conclusion of the Festival – after the hosts play the Northern Knights on Thursday afternoon (10th).

Andre Botha (Leinster Lightning Head Coach & Pathway Manager) has confirmed his squad for this final T20 Festival of the 2025 summer as follows:
