Having secured the IP20 title for the ninth time in 13 years, the Sherwin O’Riordan sponsored Leinster Lightning will now be targeting similar success in the IP50 competition.

Andre Botha’s team were unbeaten in the three home fixtures which were all played at Oak Hill back in May and now play their remaining three away fixtures over the next three Wednesdays in The Mardyke (13th August), Stormont (20th August) and Bready (27th August) as listed below:

The Lightning will go into these final matches looking to build on the strong start established back in May when they won all their home games at Oak Hill, Co Wicklow (table below):

Despite some injury and availability concerns in the bowling department, Andre Botha’s 13-man squad for Cork has a similar look to that which finished the IP20 competition as Champions back in early July.
Unfortunately Barry McCarthy (Pembroke) is injured whilst Fionn Hand (Clontarf) also remains unavailable as he continues his recovery. David Delany (Clontarf) misses this game due to work commitments however it is hoped that he will return to the squad for the final two games at Stormont and Bready respectively. Josh Little is also unavailable this time due to a side strain.
