The Sherwin O'Riordan Leinster Lightning will host the NW Warriors next Thursday (23rd) in Sydney Parade to decide who takes home the IP50 Trophy for 2026.
Leinster Lightning have won no less than 25 IP titles in the 13 years of these competitions and are seeking to win the IP50 title for a third year in succession despite significant allocation of players to other provincial teams over recent years.

The two sides won one head-to-head game each during the Group stage with the Warriors winning the clash in Bready against a severely depleted Lightning side before Lorcan Tucker’s side exacted revenge in a most comprehensive manner at Sydney Parade on 9th July last.
On that occasion, the Pembroke duo of Gavin Hoey and Byron McDonough shared 7 wickets before the Lightning chased 260 with over 10 overs to spare on the back of 90 from Chris DeFreitas (Balbriggan) and 87 from Merrion’s Stephen Doheny.

With Curtis Campher now back to full fitness, the Leinster Lightning squad for the IP Final is as follows:
Lorcan Tucker (Pembroke), Capt & Wkt
Tim Tector (Pembroke)
Harry Tector (Pembroke)
Curtis Campher (Clontarf)
Stephen Doheny (Merrion)
Chris DeFreitas (Balbriggan)
George Dockrell (Phoenix)
Gavin Hoey (Pembroke)
David Delany (Clontarf)
Fionn Hand (Clontarf)
Jai Moondra (Leinster)
Ben White (Phoenix)
Byron McDonough (Pembroke)
Head Coach: Andre Botha
Operations: Mick Cotter
The action is scheduled to commence at 10.45am on Thursday (23rd) at Sydney Parade.
Our thanks as always to James Sherwin and David O’Riordan (Sherwin O’Riordan Solicitors) for their ongoing sponsorship support of the Leinster Lightning and Leinster Bolts, it is very much appreciated
