LEINSTER LIGHTNING BOLTS IN CORK (28/29 JUNE)

The Sherwin O’Riordan sponsored Leinster Lightning Bolts squad has been announced for the forthcoming Interprovincial Future Series which will commence for the Bolts with two fixtures against Munster Heat at the Mardyke next week:

  • Wednesday 28th June: T20 Match starting at 1.30pm
  • Thursday 29th June: 50-Over Match starting at 10.45am

Reuben Wilson (YMCA)

The squad includes a good mix of players from across nine Premier League & Championship clubs and also some players who already featured for Leinster Lightning this season and/or in the inaugural CL Under 23 District competition (which was ultimately won by Dublin City).

In all, the Bolts will play six fixtures (all away from home) against the other three Unions – see below:

As per our recent IP leadership changes, Dominick Joyce is now overseeing Leinster Lightning Bolts team and will be accompanied in Cork by Andre Botha with additional support from Michael Cotter.

For Andre, it will be an early opportunity In his new role to see some of the emerging talent in Leinster as he prepares for his first Senior IP20 Festival as Leinster Lightning Head Coach which will take place at Bready CC in Derry on 14-16th July.
