The LCGA in conjunction with Cricket Leinster would like to invite any Groundsman or interested party to join us in a Groundsman Training Day at Clontarf Cricket Club.
Over the last 10 years, the LCGA have been training and educating Groundsmen on how to get their Grounds up to a better standard as well as setting up the trailer scheme and the opportunity for clubs to bulk buy Loam and Seed for end of season works.
This year in what we hope will renew a long standing friendship, our guest Groundsman is Karl McDermott. Karl has found time in his busy schedule at The Ageas Bowl Home of Hampshire County Cricket Club to come back to his home club Clontarf Cricket Club to talk all things grounds.
Matt Dwyer will also be on hand to answer any questions that you might have in relation to your Artificial pitch or training areas.
Not only will it be a very informative day it will be a good opportunity for Groundsman to meet ahead of the 2018 season and chat about any issues or plans they might have. Tea, coffee and sandwiches will be provided.
