League and Cup Winners from 2010

Results form Open Competitions [2010 Season]

Competitions: A dry summer but without too much sun, saw Merrion take the Irish [Bor Kerr] Senior Cup for the first time in a high scoring match in North County against Railway Union.  Railway Union had more luck in the Leinster Senior Cup where they beat Clontarf in College Park . The remaining two Division 1 trophies, the Alan Murray 20/20 Cup and the Division 1 League, were won by North County.

Leinster and Malahide were demoted from the Division 1 League and Phoenix and Pembroke promoted. Trinity were demoted from Division 2 and North County II promoted.

Individual Awards: The following players won individual awards, Saadaat Gull [Merchant Cup], Eddie Richaardson [O’Grady Cup], Kenny Carroll [Samuels Cup] Dara Armstrong [Hopkins Cup] and Dave Langford-Smith [Solomons Cup]. Eddie Richardson also won the Young Player of the Year Award and Kenny Carroll the Players Player Award. The John Dawson award for fair play went to Tom Fisher (Railway Union). The Hall of Fame award went to Robin Waters (Old Belvedere).
