Although the number of umpires covering matches in Cricket Leinster has increased massively over recent years, there are still some matches that are not covered. With all Open Comps matches from Division 1 to 6, and all Women's Comps Division 1 matches being covered, those below only rarely receive officially appointed officials.
In matches with no umpires, it may be the case that the captains and players invoved are less sure of some parts of the Laws, and how the game is expected to run. The LCU&SA has published a handy guide that will help all players know what is required to get a game of cricket running smoothly.
