  3. Irish Schools lose out to Leprechauns
7th July 2011 by Eddie Lewis

Irish Schools lose out to Leprechauns

Despite significant contributions from Leinster schoolboys Jonathan Andrews [46] and Tyrone Kane [43] a score of 160 all out was never enough to trouble a strong Leprechauns side. In the end the Leprechauns won by three wickets with James McCollum top scoring with 52. Earlier, Kyle McCallum provided a bowling master class taking four wickets for 19.

At The Lawn, Waringstown

Irish Schools 160 all out (41.5 overs, J Andrews 46, T Kane 43, K McCallan 4-19, M Heaney 2-48) lost to The Leprechauns 161/7 (35.4 overs, J McCollum 67, M Heaney 52, P Chase 3-50) by 3 wickets.
