Cricket Leinster go live today with a new initiative as part of the RSA supported ‘Get Into Cricket’ programme designed to encourage more people to take up the sport. The intention here is to try to make it easier for anyone to find and contact their local cricket club.
During the summer there will be regular articles in local and national media that will highlight the ‘Get Into Cricket’ programme and will direct anyone interested to search out a suitable club through the Cricket Leinster Website.
A number of clubs have already been set up and others can be added as the information as the information is provided. There is no cost to clubs involved.
Clubs are also reminded to submit details of their summer camps, cricket schools, academies so that the information can be made available to anyone accessing the Cricket Leinster website.
