Fastest century of the season?

Whilst many spectators may have spent Sunday watching the Alan Murray T20 finals or the women's cup final day, they perhaps should have been in McGrath Park, Bagenalstown to see a brilliant example of fast scoring.

Syed Mehdi of Balbriggan 2 blasted his first 50 from only 15 balls, and then hardly slowed up, as he raced to his 100 from another 20 balls - 35 in total.

Mehdi finished on a 40 ball 120, as Balbriggan ran up 347 in 45 overs.
