Cricket Leinster Awards Night Details

This note is intended for all those who have booked in to attend the Cricket Leinster Awards Night on this Friday, 23rd November 2018 in the Guinness Storehouse.

The doors open at 7.15pm with a drinks reception on the 2nd Floor of the Storehouse, outside the Arrol Suite which is the venue for our Dinner/Awards event.

This drinks reception includes complimentary red/white wine and draught Guinness so please feel free to arrive promptly! There is free car parking for the car-park in the guest car park from 7pm onwards as well.

A full bar is also available throughout the night.

We have a full house with circa 320 people attending, which is a record for such an event so we are aiming to be seated for Dinner by 8.00pm sharp to allow the meal be served and the Awards ceremony to commence promptly.

There are a couple of things that may need your attention ahead of the night:

- If you or any of your table guests have any dietary requirements, can you please advise Kevin on kevin.gallagher@cricketleinster.ie

- For those clubs who are attending that won a Cup competition during the year, please feel free to bring that with you if you would like and there'll be an opportunity to get a professional photo taken with it

- We are very close to complete capacity, but if you have any late changes to your table names please advise Kevin on kevin.gallagher@cricketleinster.ie

We have asked Andrew Leonard (Lenny) to be our MC on the Night.

We are delighted to be joined on the night by Aideen Rice (Cricket Ireland President), David O'Connor (Cricket Ireland President Elect), Richard Johnson (NCU President) and Jack Russell (Munster President) and indeed many of our own Past Presidents. In addition, we are delighted to be joined by many current Leinster players (both Men and Women), some of whom will also participate in the official photographs.

As always, we will hold a Raffle on the night with the proceeds going to the Cricket Leinster Club Development Fund. This year we are also holding an Auction for some select items with all proceeds also intended for the Cricket Leinster Club Development Fund.

We are also delighted that The Drop-Outs will be performing - which is Fintan McAllister and his band so we've been promised some brilliant ballads and classic songs to conclude the night. The bar will stop serving at 12.30am.

So it promises to be a great night as we celebrate all that is great about Cricket in Leinster.

Hope to see you there!
