CRICKET LEINSTER ANNOUNCES SPONSORSHIP OF WOMEN’S COMPETITIONS BY ED SPORTS/SO HOCKEY (23.4.2026)

Cricket Leinster is delighted to announce that ED Sports (now part of So Hockey) will sponsor all women's cricket league & cup competitions with immediate effect.

As part of this sponsorship, ED Sports/So Hockey will become Cricket Leinster’s preferred supplier of clothing, kit & equipment.  They will also serve as the sole partner for the Cricket Leinster Club Balls Scheme.

Speaking at the launch of this sponsorship, Philip Smith (CL General Manager) commented as follows:- “We very much appreciate our enduring partnership with ED Sports and will work tirelessly to promote ED Sports as a trusted supplier of cricket clothing, kit and equipment to CL and our member clubs.

We would also like to thank Lorraine McGowan at So Hockey for her positive support in making this significant sponsorship happen.”

The Women's Premier League is scheduled to commence on this Sunday 26th April and will be titled the Ed Sports Women's Premier League (as will all other women's competitions in-turn).
