CL SMASH-IT & IT'S WICKET BLITZ EVENTS (NOV/DEC 2025)

Cricket Leinster is pleased to launch a series of Smash-It and It’s Wicket! Blitz events starting at the end of November - this is an initiative bringing free indoor cricket to children in all areas throughout Leinster. Cricket Leinster is running events in Dublin’s four Local Authority areas (DLR, Dublin City, Fingal, and South Dublin) as well as in Meath, the Midlands, and Wexford. Each two and a half hour blitz will offer children the chance to experience cricket in a fun, fast-paced, and inclusive environment, no previous experience needed!

Smash-It is an entry level cricket programme for both boys and girls aged 5–9, introducing the basics of batting, bowling, and fielding through games and activities. It’s Wicket! focuses on girls aged 12–15, offering a dynamic mix of cricket skills, teamwork, and leadership through exciting indoor matches.

Running simultaneously at each venue, both blitz events are free, fun, and open to all – with every participant receiving a goodie bag to take home.
