The Community Sport Facilities Fund (previously the Sports Capital and Equipment Programme) has been the cornerstone of sports infrastructure development in Ireland and has delivered over €1.4 billion in support across nearly 19,000 projects, spanning equipment purchases, facility upgrades, and new builds.
It is anticipated that the next round of funding will open for applications during Q1 2026 and we are anxious to ensure that all CL clubs are well prepared to capitalize on this funding opportunity. We will be running a full briefing session for clubs on the Community Sports Facilities Fund and the associated application process on Thursday 15th January 2026 (via zoom), commencing at 7.00pm.

We are hoping that many CL clubs will be in a position to apply for some level of funding and will take this opportunity to be fully briefed on what is required.
There is no charge for this briefing session which will last no more than one hour with some time set aside for Q&A.
We appreciate the support and expertise of Richard Fahey, Head of Facilities at Cricket Ireland, who will co-host this session for the benefit of CL clubs.
