CL AGM - THURSDAY 27.6.2024

Just to confirm that the AGM took place last evening at Sydney Parade. Our thanks to Pembroke CC for hosting and to all those who attended.

The following clubs were represented:

North Kildare
Pembroke
Phoenix
Railway Union
Terenure
The Hills
YMCA

The chairs of Youth, Women’s, Accreditation & Grounds Committees were also in attendance.

The meeting was chaired by John Heavey (Board Chair) and the financial statements were presented by Barry Tucker (Chair of Finance).

The key outcomes were as follows:

1) The audited YE2023 accounts were approved.

2) R Brophy & Company were approved as auditors for 2024.

3) Becca Gallagher and Jannat Adil were elected as Board Directors.

Tributes were paid to Peter Twamley who retired from the Board having served since incorporation in 2017 including a period as Chair of Finance.

The Chair recognised the strong contribution of Kevin Gallagher who is leaving CL shortly having served as Operations Manager over the past 5 years.

The next company meeting will be the CL Autumn General Meeting.
