A well-attended coaching course is currently being delivered at King’s Hospital school with 22 Leinster coaches attending.
The four-day course itself concentrates on coaches developing a player-centred approach, and using the HOWZAT! programme to support their knowledge of all the areas of cricket coaching: technical, tactical, physical, mental and player lifestyle. The skills and confidence these coaches will develop will enable them to lead coaching sessions in their schools and clubs.
It is hoped more of these course can be run a venues throughout Leinster in the coming months.
