The Leinster Lightning would like to announce the following:
When the Leinster Lightning selectors first met in April it was agreed that an Inter-Provincial contract would have to be earned and not simply handed out. This was advised to the entire squad at the first training session. Using this as our template and after outstanding performances for both club and province throughout the season it has been agreed to reward Bill Coghlan, Pat Collins & Fintan McAllister with Leinster Lightning contracts for their superb efforts.
All concerned with the Leinster Lightning would like to congratulate Bill, Pat & Fintan on their contracts and their achievements during the season and wish them all the best for the rest of the year.
