It may have rained across most of the island over the weekend, but the matches that did take place have had a major impact at the top end of our All Ireland rankings.
There have only been ten matches played across the three main unions in the last week, and each of them has had its own say in how the rankings now look
Glendermott beat Drummond on July 28th, although with Glendermott also losing an Ulster Shield match to Downpatrick on Sunday , their place remained unchanged. Downpatrick moved up two places to 20th.
The big match in the NCU was the challenge cup final on Friday, and Civil Service North's exciting win over Waringstown, saw the former go up two places to 7th, and Waringstown's reign at the top ending after only one week.
That was enough for YMCA to take over at top spot, and with Merrion and Clontarf also losing on Bank Holiday Monday, YM's lead increased after their win over Terenure.
The Hills' win over Clontarf moved them closer to Instoians in 6th, whilst North County's win over Pembroke, and Malahide's win over Leinster saw them both move up a place to 14th and 15th respectively.
In the only other game to survive the weather north of the cricketing border, St Johnston beat Killyclooney, moving the Donegal club up to 31st.
Balbriggan's last gasp win over Rush saw them move above Drummond, into 35th.
