All Ireland Rankings - Phoenix up after Brigade win

With a huge amount of cricket not played...again, there isn't as much action in this week's rankings as there would otherwise be. But there were enough games completed around Leinster, the North West and the NCU to change the positions of a few clubs, and we'll concentrate on the local ones.

The gap between Merrion and YMCA is so small at the top of the table, that the slightest change can mean their positions swap. Despite Merrion beating Muckamore in the Irish Senior Cup, YMCA leap above them on the back of older matches dropping of the rankings.

Phoenix's fabtastic win over Brigade sees them leap up two places to 23rd, whilst Rush despite not playing, drop a couple of places to 33rd. Ardmore's win over North County and St Johnston's win over Civil Service North saw them both leapfrog over Rush.

Balbriggan were beneficiaries of other's misfortune, as Dummond's poor start to the season continued. They lost to Bangor in the National Cup on Saturday, before a win over Sion Mills lessened their fall.

This weekend sees the first round of the Leinster Senior Cup and the Ulster Cup, so plenty of top class action should the weather hold. Cork County and Dublin University will both re-enter the rankings next week as they both have two ranking matches this weekend. To find where they enter the charts, tune in next week
