A wet June bank holiday weekend meant that many matches were called off and scoring generally remained low. The closest match was a tied cup match between Merrion V and Leinster IV in the Middle 2 Cup [Merrion go through on fewer wickets]. Clontarf V managed 262/4 in a D11 victory over N County V. But there were very few scores of over 200 across the leagues and cups.

The outstanding individual performance over the weekend was S Singh who got two '5W' hauls in wins over N Kildare in the M2C and in defending a low score of 83 aginst Leinster V [D8]. In the former, a bowling return of 6/15 was the best of the weekend.

There was one other outstanding bolwing performance, O Desouza [5/27] for Civil Service IV in a victory over Balbriggan III in D14.

There were no centuries but J Walia made 82 for Pembroke III agaisnt Laois in D4. As it turned out it was not enough as M Ramoza responded with 80 for Laois. Finally, mention of A McDonald who scored 88 in Clontarf's D11 victory over N County V.
