Please note General Playing Regulation 2.7 with regard to registrations which indicates that new registrations after 50% of a league programme has been played are not permissible without specific OCC approval.
The regulation also indicates the type of situation which may be allowed. Also there will generally not be an objection to players who have been registered and playing at youth level.
With the new registration system , clubs/players should consider this carefully as it may be technically possible for a player to go through the current registration process only to then find that he cannot in fact play.
The OCC has decided that objections under this regulation will not be made in respect of any player registered on or before 9th July.
It may be prudent for clubs/players seeking to make new registrations after this date to check out the position before going through the actual registration procedure.

Michael Sharp, Secretary OCC
