4,250 NOW REGISTERED (17.4.2024)

With the first full programme of club fixtures just 10 days away, there are now over 4,250 players registered across the province.

The scale of registrations to-date suggests that we are on-track to achieve significant growth in playing numbers this year.

There are already 16 clubs with 100 or more registered players as follows:

Merrion (249)
Adamstown (248)
Pembroke (213)
Leinster (209)
Phoenix (207)
Malahide (201)
Clontarf (165)
The Hills (155)
North Kildare (143)
Railway Union (127)
Terenure (124)
North County (114)
Tyrrelstown (111)
Greystones (101)
Rush (100)
Balbriggan (100)

The level of growth across ‘midlands’ clubs looks very encouraging with many already recording in excess of 50 players:

Carlow (76)
Kilkenny (72)
Knockharley (72)
Mullingar (70)
Wexford (65)
Athlone (63)
Halverstown (56)
Laois (52)

Youth registrations exceed 1,400 with many players still to register for the various underage competitions.

Top of the charts on the youth side looks like this so far:

Adamstown (126)
Merrion (124)
Pembroke (117)
Leinster (101)
Phoenix (97)
Malahide (95)
