Today see the final preliminary round of the LHK Insurance [Alan Murray] T20 League. Two teams, Leinster and Merrion, have already qualified for the Quarter Finals with most of the other Division 1 sides queuing up to follow them. There is an open draw for the Quarter Finals so placing doesn’t matter.
Tomorrow sees the Quarter Finals of the Irish Senior and National Cups. There are four Leinster teams involved in the ISC. Merrion travel to Waringstown, Pembroke host North Down and The Hills and Balbriggan take part in a local derby. In the National Cup malahide host Midelton and Knockharley travel to Derriaghy. In an interesting parallel to the ISC two Leinster teams face each other in the third QF - Terenure cross the city to take on Rush.
There are also Quarter Finals for the Intermediate [Sat] and Union [Sunday] Cups as well as the usual complement of other OC matches, youth games and for the women the Typhoons take on the Dragons in Oakhill [Sunday].
