Leinster Cricket Umpires & Scorers Association will be organising several courses over the winter.
A level 1 umpiring course will be held from Friday 3 February 2012 - Sunday 5 February 2012. This course is ideal for people who like to get involved as an umpire or who have been umpiring at club level and want to have a better understanding of the Laws.
As an introductory course, Level 1 offers a solid basis for knowledge of the Laws and umpiring techniques at any level; for those umpires who aspire to be umpiring at the Associate Panel level, the level 1 course is an essential first step.
A level 1 scoring course will be held in the months leading up to the 2012 season.
