We are delighted to confirm that Slieve Bloom CC is moving to Spollenstown, Tullamore, County Offaly as part of a multi-year agreement with Tullamore Rugby Football Club.
In line with this planned move, the cricket club will also be rebranded to reflect its new home and will in future be known as Tullamore CC.
This exciting partnership will greatly assist the club in achieving its growth objectives with access to top-class non-playing facilities and a large rugby club member base from which to derive new cricket club members.

Tullamore CC (formerly Slieve Bloom) will continue to be spearheaded by Mick Schnackenberg who has worked tirelessly to develop the club to this point. He’s hugely excited by the opportunities which this move presents;
“There’s a massive cricket-playing population in Tullamore and the surrounding area and it’s a great opportunity for the club to tap into that potential and help to develop the club.
The ethos of Slieve Bloom as a club will remain, in terms of being a sporting and friendly opposition, however this move is a huge opportunity to develop our Women’s and Youths programmes, and generally grow the sport within Offaly.
It’s a hugely exciting time for the club, I’d like to thank Tullamore RFC for their approach and keenness to get this arrangement in place, and also a big thanks to Sudhakar Mani who has been a big help in terms of galvanising the playing group ahead of the coming season.”
It has already been confirmed that Tullamore CC will field an additional team in 2026 with the development of youth cricket a top priority over the next period.
