Review of the [late] Season : Open League Division 5

At the start of August there is all to play for in Division 5 with the eight teams packed closely together. Clontarf lead with 66% but Pembroke, Railway, Merrion and Leinster are all bunched together between 64% and 49%. Given the importance of getting a club's 3rd team into Division 4, this is one of the key divisions in the league. 32 matches have been played to date.

Still top score in the league [despite his injury] is Nicky Kenny [Merrion] with 321 runs and a highest score of 160*. Nine players have got more than 150 runs and there have been 6 centuries. N Jagoe [Railway U] has the most wickets with the best bowling performance of 6/34 from M Rizwan of Railway.

Averages Division 5 [Runs : 150 / Wickets : 10]
