PLAYER TRANSFERS FOR 2026 – UPDATE AS AT 7.4.2026

As we are now on the cusp of the 2026 season, there are now 222 players who have transferred ahead of the new term. This equates to about 5% of the players who have registered to-date.

The biggest beneficiary of player movement is North County CC who welcome 20 players transferring from other clubs and are up 12 players (net of departures from Inch).

Meanwhile, Tullamore CC (with a new name and a new ground for 2026) have attracted significant transfers (primarily from Athlone CC), undoubtedly benefiting from the club’s new location at Tullamore RFC.

Outside this group, Phoenix is worthy of mention in the context of overall player movement with 13 departures from the Park more than offset by 17 transfers from other clubs equating to a churn rate of circa 10% of the registered player base.
