OPEN PREMIER LEAGUE AWARDS UPDATE - AS IT STANDS (11.8.2026)

With five rounds of fixtures remaining in the IBI Corporate Finance Premier League, it's an opportune time to take stock of the state of play in the individual awards stakes.

There are awards for the leading averages in batting & bowling, most dismissals as wicket-keeper, most outfield catches, and the leading all-rounder, and we have updated tables for the Premier League below.

BATTING

Jeremy Martins leads the way here, with the Malahide man having struck 526 runs at an average of 65.75 with the chasing pack being led by JJ Garth (Pembroke) who has the highest runs aggregate to this point albeit with a lower average of 51.18 per innings

IBI Corporate Finance Premier League - O'Grady Cup

Ashil Prakash leads the way here for Railway Union, with his 23 wickets costing just 12.17 runs apiece, he's almost 2.5 runs clear of Leinster’s Jai Moondra in terms of average whilst Jeremy Martins of Malahide also makes this list with 23 wickets at 18.22 reflecting his all-round quality.

WICKET-KEEPING

IBI Corporate Finance Premier League - Hopkins Cup

Four keepers have passed 15 dismissals so far this season, with Balbriggan’s Connor Fletcher out in front with 19 catches and a stumping in 13 appearances for the Fingal side. Unfortunately Greg Hollins will not have an opportunity to add to his excellent performance to end July as he has incurred a season-ending injury.

No surprise to see Pembroke captain Jack Tector leading the way in the outfield catchers in the Premier League, with his brother Tim not far behind. Again Jeremy Martins features on this list too reflecting his all-round strength.

ALL-ROUNDER

IBI Corporate Finance Premier League - Samuels Cup

Given the strength of his all-round statistics, it will be no surprise to see Malahide's Jeremy Martins sitting in pole position to be the top all-rounder in Leinster with just a few weeks of the season to complete – he is over 100 points ahead of Jordan Hollard (Balbriggan) who himself is over 140 points clear of his club keeper Connor Fletcher.
