  3. OCC League structure finalised
4th January 2012 by Cricket Leinster

OCC League structure finalised

With the beginning of the 2012 season now only fifteen weeks away, the Open league structure has now been finalised. There have been several changes since the initial draft (which can be viewed here) was published in the autumn, with the changes for each division since then highlighed below.

The most prominent of these was in Division 2 and 3, where The Hills 2 felt that they couldn't meet the OCC's wishes to have their 1sts and 2nds playing on the same day. North County 2 felt likewise, and hence Old Belvedere 1 were returned back to Division 2.

Further down the leagues, a series of new clubs felt that they had been entered at too high or too low a level, and were subsequently switched around. Civil Service also requested a re-configuration of their teams.

League fixtures will be made by the clubs from next week, with the full fixture list being available to view on the website from mid-February.
