Minutes silence for famine victims

Cricket Ireland is encouraging clubs to observe a minute's silence before all games this Sunday 13th May, in memory of those who died and emigrated during the Great Famine.

An explanation of the event is added below, from John Treacy, CEO if the Irish Sports Council
