The Leprechauns A.G.M. will take place (as usual) on Tuesday 28th February in Clontarf at 8pm. Members are kindly requested to attend. Apologies, only, to:- dickforrest@eircom.net.
The Leps. had a busy 2011, with the Irish Schools fixture being re-established, and a break through(in!?) on the international scene, at North Kildare, in September, where we drew with Canada. A photo of some of the "groundwork" for this game will soon appear on our web-site (www.leprechauns.cc). One of the stars that day, Max Sorensen, has since gone on to greater things. Those of you wondering when Tim Murtagh will play for us....he has been asked!!
A big thank you to all the clubs who put their grounds and facilities at our disposal and those who hosted us throughout last season.
In 2012 along with the usual fixtures we look forward to visits from Sussex Farmers (June), Blacksmiths(Somerset/Devon border)(July), & Milan (Aug). INCOGNITI (151 years young!) will visit in May to play their first game in Phoenix Park since 1888. (They say they will bring the scorecard - can't wait to see if there was a Pigot playing!).
Other incoming sides this summer include Sunbury (Easter), New Brighton (July), & Toulouse and North Wheatley with Leverton(Sept).
