The annual fixture between Leinster Schools and Ulster Schools will take place on Monday 23rd and Tuesday 24th June at Merrion CC, Anglesea Road, Dublin 4.
This secondary schools interprovincial fixture has a long and proud history with the first such game taking place in 1906 at the Royal School Armagh, a game won by the Leinster side. In aggregate, Leinster has won this fixture on 24 occasions.
Last year's game succumbed to persistent rain at Osborne Park (Belfast) after Leinster Schools had established a dominant position after Day One.
This year's Leinster team is managed by Rob Delaney (Chair, CL Boys Secondary Schools Cricket) supported by Cillian McDonnell (Clontarf & Captain North Leinster U23s).

The format of this annual fixture has varied over the years - as in recent seasons, the 2025 edition will be played as a traditional 2-day red-ball fixture.
The Leinster Schools team will be led by Christopher Butler (captain of the CUS team which won the Schools Senior Cup last month). This year’s Leinster Schools team includes six players who participated in the recent Senior Schools Cup Final.
In all, there are six schools represented in the team whilst all selected players are also established club cricketers across the province, many of whom have represented Leinster and Ireland at underage level.
