The Leinster Schools team to face Ulster Schools in this year’s traditional fixture between the two sides has been confirmed.
The side is captained by Andrew Tonge, who was skipper of this year’s victorious CUS side, with that side producing 4 of the traveling squad for this fixture.
Captain of the runners-up in the competition, Philippe le Roux from Blackrock College is vice captain and his team are the only other side with multiple representatives, as they have three members of their side selected.

Ardgillan, Mount Temple, Sandford Park, Wesley College and The Kings Hospital each have one representative in the squad.
The match is a two-day, two innings game played this year in Belfast on the 28th and 29th of June.
The first innings is 55 overs per team and then there is no over limit in the second innings except that there will be 20 overs from 5pm on the last day. Its good old-fashioned cricket played in whites with a red ball!
The game is set to begin at 11am on the 28th of June and should be finished around 6pm on the following evening, the 29th. All 12 players selected will play in the game - with 11 chosen for each innings.
The team members will receive a cap and a sleeveless jumper for the game as recognition of their selection.
The team stay overnight at Stranmillis College which is close to the venue, Osborne Park on the Malone Road. Osborne Park is the sports ground of Royal Belfast Academical Institution.
As you might expect there has been a hiatus with the fixture since 2019 and we are very happy that it can resume this year.
The team selected for the fixture is as follows;
Coaches: Nicky Kenny, Kevin O'Herlihy
Manager: Stephen Tonge
