The Sherwin O’Riordan sponsored Leinster Lightning Bolts squad has been named for their third 2-day game of the 2026 season against the Emerging Warriors at Eglinton CC in Derry.
Having beaten Munster Heat in Round One and securing a draw against the Emerging Knights at Belmont last week, the Leinster Bolts will be aware of the need to sustain a strong performance in the North-West in order to maintain their slender lead at the top of the Future Series table.

Barry Grimes has experienced some availability challenges with his squad based on injuries and work commitments however he has still retained the core of the squad which came away from the NCU with a creditable draw last week. Last week’s centurion, Danny Forkin, is unavailable and he is replaced by John McNally of Clontarf whilst Matthew Langan (Malahide) returns to the squad and will keep wicket.
