GIRLS WINTER/SPRING PROGRAMMES

The Girls Provincial Easter Camps were held the first week of the Easter break and represented the conclusion of our Winter programmes for all age groups.

All age groups received a 6-week block of coaching sessions as well as a 4-day Easter camp whilst the U13 & U15 girls also participated in February mid-term coaching sessions.

Almost 190 girls participated across our Winter programme and in addition to this, a large number of Leinster girls also participated in Irish underage squad training sessions.

We were delighted to have Irish International players joining us over the series of sessions including Orla Prendergast & Jane Maguire from the Irish Women’s Squad and Freya Sargent from the Irish U19s.

The U13, U15 and U17 girls will now go on to selection matches in order to select two squads for each age group that will play against the Northern Cricket Union (NCU) and North West Cricket Union (NWCU). There will also be a Leinster Women’s Future Series squad which will play in a series against the other Unions as the Irish U17s.

The U11 Girls will continue to be participation based and open to all female players in the age group across Leinster. We are holding U11 Girls Softball Blitzes, see below for details:

Age: Minimum age of 9 years old on the day and they would need to be Under 11 as at September 1st 2022
